An Unexpectedly Productive Day

Nolan took a short nap this afternoon, so I finally got around to making the Open Court unit 4 and unit 5 roll and graph activities.

He was also being very good at entertaining himself with his jungle gym thing, so I got my workshop stickers redone for my center tubs and the signs for each center table/area redone too. I've only been meaning to do that since I got back from maternity leave in February!  Has anyone else had to redo the management of workshop/centers about a dozen times this year, or is that just my class?

I also made a smartboard document that I put up each day, so the kids can visually see which center they should be working at. Some of my kids are pulled for reading AIS during this time, so it really helps when they come back. The colors are for their table groups that they rotate around in, and each center has an image and number to help them know where to go. I don't know how to add notebook documents to blog posts, so you'll have to stop by my TpT store if you're interested in checking that out.

If you use any of these items, please let me know! Enjoy your weekend; I hope it's a productive one (or a lazy one depending on what kind of mood you're in currently!).

Hello excellent blog! Does running a blog such as this take a lot of work? I've no understanding of computer programming but I was hoping to start my own blog in the near future. Anyhow, if you have any suggestions or tips for new blog owners please share. I understand this is off subject but I simply needed to ask. Many thanks!
